In relation to all City Tutors (hereafter ‘the company’) practices, we use the word ‘founders’ to refer principally to the directors of the company. Confirmation of the details of the directors of the company is available on request. We use the word ‘clients’ to refer to customers of the company, and the word ‘tutors’ refers to the freelance staff contracted by the company to provide services to clients

This statement relates to how we may collect and use information about users of this website, our clients and others who contact us in relation to our services. If you have any questions about our privacy policies, want to exercise your right to see a copy of the information that we hold about you, or think that information we hold about you may need to be corrected, want to delete all or any part of it or to object to the processing on legitimate grounds, please send an email to contact@city-tutors.co.uk.
We do not carry any information of visitors to our website capable of identifying individuals. Various parts of this site invite you to submit your contact details and other information about yourself or your organisation, or to send us emails which will, of course, also identify you. In each case, the purpose for which you are invited to give us information is clear. We may propose to use your details to send you information about events or services which we believe may be of interest to you (other than information that you have specifically requested). If you object to this and would like not to be contacted you can let us know your preferences by sending an email to contact@city-tutors.co.uk.
The contact details of clients held on record will never be disclosed to any third party. Payment details such as credit card numbers are never kept on file and are discarded immediately after payments are made.

6. Cancellations
In ordinary circumstances the company will always attempt to rearrange tutorials in circumstances whereby one party is unable to attend at no extra cost to the other attending party. In general we will seek to avoid implementing cancellation fees other than where necessary to avoid the company from incurring costs itself.
It is therefore within the discretion of the company to charge cancellation fees to clients who cancel bookings within 24 hours of the agreed booking time. Client cancellation fees will be charged at a minimum of 1 hour at the tuition rate paid by the client. Where a client persistently cancels without giving at least 24 hours notice City Tutors reserve the right to charge the full fees for the lesson booked.
Similarly, it is within the discretion of the company to charge cancellation fees to tutors who cancel bookings within 24 hours of the agreed booking time.
