Foreign Language Courses for Beginners

This foreign language course is aimed at complete beginners who want to learn and develop language skills in French, German, Italian or Spanish.

Foreign language courses are provided in groups of up to 11 persons.

Our 10 hour course can be taken intensively over one weekend or one night a week over 5 weeks.

The Beginners Course assumes no prior knowledge of the target language and is designed to equip you with the fundamentals of the language, with a primary focus on practical language and conversational skills. Examples of topics covered include: greetings and introductions; spelling and pronunciation; asking for and giving personal information; describing locations and asking for directions; intonation; expressing tastes and interests; describing people; expressions of time, expressing agreement and disagreement; describing the weather; going to the shops; and ordering food.
