SEN Support

City Tutors offer one-to-one support to SEN students. Our SEN tutors can help students who are deaf, those with dyslexia, autism, behavioural problems and other special educational needs.

Dyslexia

Our specialist dyslexia teachers can provide:

• One-to-one dyslexic support
• Dyslexia tutoring to children
• Support to dyslexic adult learners
• Dyslexia screening and assessment
• Advice to students, parents and guardians regarding dyslexia and learning techniques

Deafness

Our tutors trained to deal with deaf clients can:

• Facilitate access to the curriculum for profoundly deaf/first language British Sign Language (BSL) users
• Communicate using sign language
• Take notes for people with hearing impairments in educational settings
• Take notes for people with hearing impairments in at conferences and in meetings

Our SEN tutors are all trained and experienced in dealing with those with special educational needs.

Our rates are as follows:

One-to-one support £50 per hour.
